How are Precincts Organized?

Moore County is divided into 26 precincts, each serving as a local hub for Democratic Party activities. These precincts are the foundation of the party's grassroots organization and are vital to achieving its goals within the county.

Every precinct has its own leadership team consisting of the following officers:

  • Chair: Responsible for leading the precinct, organizing events, and representing the precinct in county meetings.
  • Vice Chair: Assists the Chair and steps in when the Chair is unavailable. The Vice Chair may focus on specific initiatives such as voter outreach or event planning.
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Maintains records of meetings, manages communications, and oversees financial matters for the precinct.

Leadership Opportunities

If you're passionate about making a difference in your community, consider running for one of these leadership positions. These roles allow you to influence local decision-making, plan and execute community outreach, and be the voice of your neighbors in the Democratic Party.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Learn About Your Precinct: Visit the Moore County Democrats Precinct Map to find your precinct and current leadership.
